GBMSM & Youth Sexual Health Educator
 
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND ROLE
 
The GBMSM & Youth Sexual Health Educator reports to the Director of Education. This role focuses on delivering and evaluating both group and one-to-one sexual health/harm reduction education and prevention programming for members of 2STGBMSM (Two-Spirit, Trans* Gay, Bi and other men who have sex with men) communities within the six counties RHAC serves. The role also includes developing, delivering and evaluating a population-specific, HIV testing-focused campaign through collaborative and strategic planning with a team of internal stakeholders and external consultants; community development activities; and a combination of both online and frontline campaign-linked outreach. Additionally, this role is connected with the administration and facilitation of RHAC’s Open Closet program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
